Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

 

Who knew how easy these are to make!! Super simple and quick, we prefer these to the real thing (and we are big fans of the real thing). I cannot stress enough how much you’re family and friends will enjoy these!

Ingredients:

2 cups melted chocolate chips (dark, bittersweet, semisweet - your choice)

4 T peanut butter (smooth or chunky - your choice)

2 tsp honey or maple syrup

8 paper cupcake wrappers or 16 mini cupcake wrappers

2 T sea salt - flaked is best but any will do.

Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler or the microwave. Combine the peanut butter and honey or maple syrup in a small bowl. Set out the wrappers on a tray to transport to the freezer easily. 

Spoon approximately 1 T of melted chocolate into each wrapper, add a dollop of the peanut butter combined with the honey or maple syrup to each and then top with additional chocolate. Sprinkle with sea salt and place in the freezer to set for 20-30 minutes.
