Chimichurri

 

You had me at Chimichurri…If I see chimichurri on a menu I’m pretty much in for the order! It’s fun to say, fun to make and is a delicious flavor boost to any dish! This is a dish that we frequently make in my classes because it’s fun for everyone to chop and add and eat! Try this one soon!

Ingredients:

½ cup parsley

½ cup cilantro

¼ cup red onion

1 garlic clove

1 serrano chili

⅔ c olive oil

½ c red wine vinegar

Salt and pepper

Chop all by hand and combine or process in a blender. Let stand for 15 minutes before using for flavors to marry.

Suggestions:

Delicious on steak, shrimp and chicken

Gorgeous on asparagus, tomatoes, potatoes

Any veggie..really!
