Dark Chocolate Dipped Apricots
Ingredients:
1 cup dried apricots
1 cup dark chocolate chips (Ghirardelli 60% cacao bittersweet chocolate is my favorite)
2 T sea salt
In a microwave or double boiler, melt chocolate chips until smooth. Place a large piece of parchment paper on your work space. Dip half of each apricot into the melted chocolate, shaking off the excess. Place on the parchment paper, sprinkle with 3-4 grains of sea salt. Repeat. Allow to cool and harden.
Tip: place in fridge to quicken hardening process.
Options:
Try dipping fresh strawberries too (no sea salt)
Dried mango or any other dried fruits work here too!
