Best Fried Egg

 

Think you don’t have time for breakfast? Think again! in way less time than a drive thru takes, you can have this beautiful crisp edged, creamy runny yolk egg! It actually only takes about 45 seconds, high heat is the trick here so turn up the flame and do yourself a major favor.. You absolutely can afford this one, eggs are cheap and the time is affordable. Go ahead, you deserve a great start today!

Ingredients:

3 T. olive oil

1 egg


Heat a small frying pan over medium-high heat. Add 3 T. olive oil (most of this oil stays behind in the pan so don’t be alarmed by the amount of oil) and allow to get good and hot. Crack in the egg and spoon the hot oil over the egg intermittently. Being careful of the splatter. After 45 seconds to a minute the egg will be done. The high heat cooks the egg white to a crisp and the center yolk stays runny. Perfect for a piece of toast or top a salad. I sprinkled “everything but the bagel’ sesame salt on this one. Enjoy!
